What to expect
What took our breath away might just take yours too.

1. Inner Reef
Close to the coast, the inner reef is calm and sheltered, ideal for beginners, families, or short snorkelling trips. Think shallow coral lagoons and gentle marine life, often accessible by boat within 30–60 minutes from Cairns or Port Douglas.
2. Outer Reef
The Outer Reef is located between the Inner and Outer Reef near Cairns. It has healthy corals, clear water, and many tropical fish. It is a great spot for snorkeling and diving, less crowded than the Inner Reef but easier to reach than the Outer Reef.
3. Outer Outer Reef
The Outer Outer Reef lies the farthest from Cairns. It has deep, open waters with excellent visibility and spectacular coral walls. This area is famous for its rich marine life, including large fish, turtles, and sometimes reef sharks, making it ideal for diving adventures.
